I was thrilled to have two of my images on exhibit with Nature's Best Photography Magazine's Windland Smith Rice International Awards at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History the past two years. My photo "Over the Rainbow" was taken at Niagara Falls and placed "Highly Honored" in the 2006 competition. It was on exhibit for almost a year through October, 2007. Then my photo of the Kodiak bear named Fred and taken at the Buffalo Zoo, won First Place in the Zoos and Aquariums category of the Windland Smith Rice International Awards and was on exhibit through April of 2008. Both times, my hubby Bob and I flew down in our Cessna to view the exhibits and timed them both for the Cherry Blossom Festival.
